One year ago, contract faculty from across NYU voted UNION YES by an overwhelming majority. By organizing to protect and improve our jobs, we won the largest union of full-time, non-tenure track professors at any private university in the country.
And we won big because of you. You got out the vote by talking to your colleagues, wearing pins and hanging posters, attending rallies and town halls, and flyering the campus.
We think the best way to celebrate the one-year anniversary of our historic victory is to continue to take action in support of our union. We won our union because we organized together, and we’ll win a strong contract doing the same.
