Walk with CFU at the Queer Liberation March on Sunday, June 29
Join fellow academic workers and NYC UAW members at the annual Queer Liberation March, organized by the Reclaim Pride Coalition (RPC), a grassroots collective that has marched in New York City every June since 2019. With the federal government’s attacks on the rights of our queer and trans siblings, it’s more important than ever to stand together. We’ll meet at Sheridan Square and march together to Battery Park. Join the Bus to Support AAUP v. Rubio in Boston on Monday, July 7
As we fight for the rights of non-citizen colleagues at the bargaining table, the American Association of University Professors has been fighting in the courts. Their lawsuit, AAUP v. Rubio, challenges the Trump administration’s policy of arresting, detaining, and deporting noncitizen students and faculty who participate in pro-Palestinian activism. The NYU AAUP chapter has chartered a bus to bring faculty to observe the first day of the trial in Boston on Monday, July 7 — sign up here.
