Our first bargaining session with the NYU administration is Friday, November 1. In order to send a strong message to the administration that we’re ready to win a strong first contract, CFU-UAW will rally on Thursday, October 31st – prepare the way with a Halloween rally at 1pm on Schwartz Plaza!

Join your colleagues from across campus to launch our negotiations in a fun and festive way. Costumes encouraged!. Make this milestone in our campaign a celebration, one that won’t stop until we’ve got the contract we all deserve — one with some bite! Let’s bring our spirit and the screams to kick-off the negotiations. The cost of living is frightful! And it’s scary how overworked and underpaid some of us are. Let them know they can’t ghost us or satisfy us with a few pieces of stale candy. Let’s not let the NYU administration continue to suck the life blood out of us!

The more of us who attend the rally, the louder we say to the NYU administration that we are alive and ready to win a strong first contract! Contract faculty across campus overwhelmingly support bringing the administration to the table to demand higher faculty pay, better job security, and more say over our professional lives.
