Earlier this month, we announced that a majority of NYU contract faculty had filled out the bargaining survey to express their priorities for our first collectively bargained union contract. The elected members of the CFU Bargaining Committee have been reviewing the survey and are now finalizing a set of initial goals for the strong contract we need and deserve.

On Monday, September 9, at 6:30pm, join the Bargaining and Organizing Committees for a Town Hall on our initial bargaining goals and other next steps.

As full time continuing faculty, we are at the heart of New York University and represent the largest union of private-university full-time non-tenure track faculty in the country. Our demands reflect our specific needs but promote a vision for the academy that will make NYU the best university it can be. That vision for a healthy and just university rests on academic freedom and job security, compensation and benefits that support our lives, and time for ourselves and our families.

Join us on September 9 to hear about the next steps for our contract campaign, to learn about ratifying our bargaining goals, and to come together to take the next steps — together — to win our strong first contract. If you have not yet completed a bargaining survey, you can do so here.

In solidarity,

The Bargaining and Organizing Committees
