Heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in our Strike Authorization Vote, which ended at 9:00 pm on Friday, February 20. Contract faculty voted by 90% to authorize our elected Bargaining Committee to call a strike if circumstances justify.

Yes: 627
No: 67
While a strike deadline has not yet been set, these results show that a supermajority of all contract faculty are ready to withhold our labor if the administration does not agree to fair contract terms.
Our next scheduled bargaining session is Friday, February 27th, from 12:00 – 5:00 pm, and we encourage everyone to RSVP and join as an observer. We look forward to discussing our next steps and to continuing our campaign for the strong first contract we need and deserve.
